Lifepoint Health Publishes 2024 Community Benefit Report

Brentwood, Tenn. (May 22, 2025) – Lifepoint Health®, a diversified healthcare delivery network dedicated to making communities healthier,® has published its annual companywide community benefit report for the 2024 calendar year. The report highlights the many ways the organization continues to contribute to the health, economic strength and development of communities across the nation.

Lifepoint’s 2024 community benefit report outlines the broad scope of the organization’s contributions, which amounted to more than $6.3 billion in total economic impact across all its community-based hospitals, rehabilitation and behavioral health hospitals, and additional sites of care. Of this total, Lifepoint donated more than $1.4 billion in healthcare services to those in need, demonstrating its commitment to ensuring all community members have access to the care they need, regardless of their ability to pay. Other key efforts included adding and expanding service lines to enhance access to high-quality care close to home and investing $291 million in capital investments. This included constructing new and renovating existing facilities, and enhancing medical equipment and technology, among other important projects.

Additionally, Lifepoint is dedicated to creating places where physicians and providers want to practice and employees want to work. In 2024, the organization distributed more than $4.3 billion in salaries, wages and benefits for its nearly 55,000 employees and contributed more than $16 million in education, professional development and tuition assistance. The organization also paid more than $412 million in taxes and gave more than $5.7 million in support of local activities, events and organizations committed to serving the region, including food pantries, charities, community chambers of commerce and much more.
