August 14, 2019KershawHealth announced today that Sue Shugart has been named chief executive officer (CEO) of the hospital, effective immediately. Shugart has been serving as interim CEO of KershawHealth since April, following the departure of the hospital’s former CEO Terry Gunn. Gunn is now market CEO of Providence Health, another LifePoint Health facility in Columbia, South Carolina, and KershawHealth. Shugart will report directly to Gunn in her role as CEO.

Both facilities are part of LifePoint Health and are located in Columbia, South Carolina, and Camden, South Carolina, respectively.
