LifePoint Health Pharmacy Informatics Residency Program Receives Top Accreditation
February 13, 2020LifePoint Health® today announced that its pharmacy informatics residency program – a collaboration between LifePoint and the Lipscomb University College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences – has been awarded an eight-year accreditation by the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP). The accreditation is effective through 2027, representing the maximum timeframe a residency program can be accredited by the organization.

January 08, 2020Emory Healthcare and LifePoint Health today announced that they have formed a joint venture to enhance access to, and delivery of high-quality, cost-effective care; improve the health of residents in Columbus, Ga., and surrounding communities; and strengthen the regional benefits of Emory’s health care expertise close to home. St. Francis Hospital in Columbus, which LifePoint has owned since 2016, will now be the first facility owned by the joint venture.

LHC Group and LifePoint Health Expand Joint Venture Partnership in Three States
November 05, 2019LHC Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: LHCG) and LifePoint Health have announced an agreement to further expand their existing joint venture (JV) partnership with the purchase of one home health provider with a location in Wilmington, Ohio, and two hospice providers located in Sierra Vista, Ariz., and Lewiston, Idaho. The organizations will share ownership of CMH Home Health Care, Casa de la Paz Hospice, and St. Joseph Family Hospice in each market, respectively.

LifePoint Health Signs Real Estate Agreement with Medical Properties Trust
November 05, 2019LifePoint Health®, a leading healthcare company dedicated to Making Communities Healthier®, today announced that it has signed an agreement with Medical Properties Trust, Inc. (“MPT”) (NYSE:MPW) for a sale-leaseback transaction in which it will transfer ownership of the real estate of 10 acute care hospitals in six of its markets to MPT. The aggregate purchase price of the transaction is $700 million.
