Greg Caples Named CEO of Haywood Regional Medical Center
September 15, 2020Haywood Regional Medical Center (HRMC), a Duke LifePoint Hospital, announced that Greg Caples has been named its new chief executive officer (CEO), effective September 30. Caples comes to HRMC from Coliseum Northside Hospital in Macon, Ga., where he has served as CEO for three years. He replaces former CEO Rod Harkleroad who left earlier this year to pursue a leadership opportunity at another Duke LifePoint facility.

February 17, 2020LifePoint Health®, a leading healthcare company dedicated to Making Communities Healthier®, and Special Olympics Tennessee have announced a three-year partnership to offer free health screening opportunities for individuals with intellectual disabilities throughout Tennessee. The partnership will provide free health screenings for vision, hearing, dental, sports physicals and adaptive coping skills to approximately 3,600 Special Olympics athletes across the state each year. Funding from LifePoint Health will result in 27 health screening events over the next three years.
