Western Plains Physician Practices, LLC seeks an Internal Medicine Physician at its location in Dodge City (112 Ross Blvd, Dodge City, KS 67801). Examine, diagnose and treat diseases and injuries of internal organ systems; analyze records, reports, test results, or examination information to diagnose medical condition of patients; prescribe or administer medication, therapy and other specialized medical care to treat or prevent illness, disease or injury; provide and manage long-term, comprehensive medical care, including diagnosis and nonsurgical treatment of diseases for adult patients; manage and treat common health problems, such as infections, influenza and pneumonia, as well as serious, chronic, and complex illnesses, in adolescents, adults, and the elderly; monitor patients' conditions and progress and reevaluate treatments as necessary; collect, record and maintain patient information, such as medical history, reports and examination results; explain procedures and discuss test results or prescribed treatments with patients; advise patients and community members regarding diet, activity, hygiene and disease prevention. Requires Medical degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent); completion of residency training in Internal Medicine; board eligible or board certified in Internal Medicine; and possess or eligible to apply for Kansas medical license.
