Lifepoint Health today announced that it has signed an agreement with ScionHealth for Lifepoint to acquire eight ScionHealth acute care hospitals. The transaction would expand the company's presence in Idaho, Mississippi, Tennessee, Texas, West Virginia and Wisconsin.
