Clark Regional Medical Center, a 79-bed facility which was recently named a Duke LifePoint Quality Affiliate, is the top-rated hospital for preventing hospital-acquired infections in the Commonwealth, according to a recent study from Consumer Reports.

Marquette City Commission approves new hospital purchase agreement

The Marquette City Commission agreed to sell a 37-acre parcel of land currently being occupied by the Marquette Municipal Services Center to Duke LifePoint for $4 million. Duke LifePoint will use the land to build a brand new, state-of-the-art U.P. Health System Marquette campus.

Ground broken for new Sumner County cancer center

HighPoint Health System and Sumner Regional Medical Center celebrated the groundbreaking for a new 17,000-square-foot cancer treatment facility in Gallatin on Tuesday. Carpenter Cancer Center, named after LifePoint Health Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Bill Carpenter, is expected to open in the first quarter of 2016.
