LifePoint Health Names Mountain and Western Division Presidents

Brentwood, Tenn. (March 13, 2019) – LifePoint Health®, a leading healthcare company dedicated to Making Communities Healthier®, today announced that it has appointed Sandra Podley as Western Division president and Robert Wampler as Mountain Division president. In her new role, Podley will oversee hospitals in Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington and Wyoming. Wampler will oversee hospitals in Arkansas, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas and Wisconsin.

Podley joins LifePoint from Presbyterian Healthcare Services, where she served as senior vice president (SVP) of hospital operations, responsible for the nine hospitals in their delivery system. She came to Presbyterian from Havasu Regional Medical Center, a LifePoint Health facility in Lake Havasu City, Arizona, where she served as chief executive officer (CEO). Prior to her service at Havasu Regional, she held leadership positions in New Mexico at Lovelace Medical Center and Los Alamos Medical Center, another LifePoint Health facility. Podley received her master's degree in religious education from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and an undergraduate degree from Baylor University.

Wampler has been serving as interim Western Division president at LifePoint since November 2018. Prior to this role, he was senior vice president (SVP) and division president, and SVP and division chief operating officer (COO) for RCCH HealthCarePartners. He also served as SVP-COO, hospital operations at Capella Healthcare, VP, division chief financial officer (CFO) for both Province Healthcare and LifePoint Hospitals, and controller, CFO and CEO for Community Health Systems. He earned his BBA in accounting from East Tennessee State University and holds an active CPA license.
